Introducing
Filosophy, the exciting new Asian American a cappella group
created by the team behind the renowned Filipino-American a capella ensemble, The
Filharmonic. Filosophy is LA's premiere up-and-coming a
capella group consisting of members from hit movies and tv shows such as The
Sing-Off, Turning Red, The Voice, and more! Filosophy has
performed on cruise ships, college campuses, and they are regular performers at
Downtown Disney LIVE! They are featured on The Filharmonic’s EP,
“Profiles," their rendition of "Flowers" by Miley Cyrus has
received over 6,000 views on Instagram, and their debut music video, “Go Tell
It On The Mountain/Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” has amassed over 10,000 views
on YouTube!
Filosophy is composed of over
20 artists in rotation, whose goal is to further promote Asian representation
through live performance. They blend hip hop, jazz, pop, and R&B in
exciting and captivating arrangements. With an extensive repertoire ranging
from the 1976 classic "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder, to the
2020 smash "Dynamite" by K-POP group BTS, Filosophy
offers an energetic, exciting, and interactive performance for the whole
family.
