'"To me, it's necessary that every school has the same opportunities to help students out with their passion, whatever that may be..The arts programs are in need, and we understand that we have the ability to help that need.  I have to pinch myself every day, it's just a great feeling performing for others and delivering a positive message.   We want to show that you can follow your dreams and have a positive impact.  [The Take Chances Tour] has been in the making for a while, and we are excited to see it through.

In Fall 2013 & Fall 2014, professional musician and 'GLEE' guitarist Derik Nelson & his team visited high school auditoriums across the west coast for a professional-grade pop/rock concert with his band.  In addition to the high-tech concert featuring a 20-foot-video wall, big sound and integrated light show, they provided a one-hour inspirational/educational assembly for the student body during the day.  They spoke on creativity, self-discipline, out-of-the-box thinking, college planning and career prep, anti-bullying, setting goals, following dreams, and the tour's theme: what it means to Take Chances.

They reached over 10,000 students through this program. The fundraising component provided with the concert (which all schools took advantage of to benefit their arts programs: in some cases, doubling their annual allotted department budget) resulted in tremendous positive impact to their school from the surrounding community.

Fundraising concerts are available in conjunction with a public performance booking (Options Below). Nominate a school in your area or contact your territory agent for more details.
